Spring Creek — Our Local School
Mountain Vista Community School (K-8) utilizes a unique pod-type design, classrooms for each
grade level are clustered around a communal area for group activities.
The two-story building spans 95,000 square feet on the corner of Dorset Drive and Flintshire Street.
Mountain Vista Community School offers core academics for higher achieving students. It
will be a high performing school from day one and will offer small classes.
It will primarily serve the Spring Creek Development.
This is the first
school of its type for District 2 and will be a school to be proud of for
the district. National research has proven this type of concept with K-8 to
be very effective.
Greenspace
School District 2 has a goal of steady and continuous improvement and is
excelling in its efforts to increase student achievement, close the learning
gap and provide the best possible education for all their students.
